Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Luke Robins of the Kildonan east mixed doubles curling team.

Robins, along with his teammate and sister Ella, led the Wolverines Mixed Curling team to a KPAC Championship and 2nd place finish at the MHSAA Provincials in Rivers, MB. Coach Jennifer Ginter states, "A very deserving Student-Athlete who brings strength and humility wherever he goes! He is a fierce competitor who values genuine sportsmanship. Additionally, he is being showcased by TSN by starting up a learn to curl program for Ukrainian Immigrant families."

This grade 12 student maintains a 98% academic average and earlier this year was a key player and role model on the varsity boys volleyball squad. As the defending KPAC Mixed Doubles Badminton Champion he is ready for the upcoming competitive season!
