Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Chelsea Rachel of the Ste. Anne Lynx basketball team. 

Rachel recently led the team to a second place finish at the Elmwood tournament where she was named a tournament All-star.  On the season she is averaging 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists.  Coach Kevin Zebrasky states, "Chelsea is a great leader whether it being during practice or during a game. She has showed us how much she loves the game of basketball and how devoted she is." 

This multi-sport athlete also competes in volleyball and fast pitch maintains a 90% academic average in her grade 10 year.
