Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Josh Ryckman-Guilford of the Morden Thunder hockey team.

Ryckman-Guilford has led the Thunder over the first two rounds of the Zone 4 Hockey playoffs. He has accumulated 6 goals and 12 points over 4 games as the Thunder have gone 4-0, outscoring their opponents 28-2 to advance to the Zone 4 Finals. Athletic Director Nicole Rutledge states, "Josh is a versatile player who plays forward and defence while playing even strength and plays defence on the power play all the while accumulating zero penalty minutes".

This grade 12 student participates as a Thunder athlete in badminton, golf, and baseball, while maintaining a 75% academic average.
