Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Marcus Cook of the Gabrielle Roy Les Roys basketball team.

A shooting guard, Cook led Les Roys to an overall 22-3 record on the season and a AA Varsity Boys Provincial Basketball Championship title. On the season, he averaged 28 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals per game. He was selected as a Provincial Championship all-star, while also being named the Zone 13 MVP this season. Coach Matthew Chammartin states, "Marcus is a senior and has been a key contributor to back to back AA Varsity boys basketball championships for Les Roys". 

In grade 12 he maintains an 88% academic average.
