Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Kyu Fust of the Dakota Lancers basketball team.

Fust led her Lancer team through another very strong season, culminating in a victory at the Dairy Farmers of Manitoba AAAA Provincial Basketball Championship. This was the Lancers 2nd consecutive AAAA basketball championship title. Fust for her efforts also claimed her second consecutive MVP honor at the championship. Athletic Director Ryan Hudson states, "Over her time in high school, Kyu always gives her all both on and off the court".

This grade 12 student athlete maintains an 85% academic average and will be attending the University of Regina on a basketball scholarship next year.
