Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Sean Aguinaldo of the Morden Thunder badminton team.

Aguinaldo recently claimed bronze at the Provincial High School Badminton Championships in the JV Boys singles.  Leading up to provincials he had not lost a game all season, winning 2 tournaments along the way. He went undefeated to claim the Zone IV JV badminton regionals and zones titles in boys' singles.  Coach Tyler Sloan states, "He set a goal to win the Zone IV JV banner this year after losing in the final last year. All his hard work and determination paid off." 

This grade 10 student maintains a 92% academic average.
