Alexander Josephson Memorial Scholarship

Mason is one of the team leaders on his hockey team and one of their top defensemen, leading in points and ice time. Mason exhibits unrivaled sportsmanlike qualities, and he is a skilled and constant performer bringing his all to every practice and game. He was the team captain not only for his hockey team but also the school’s football team and will play an integral part on the lacrosse team. He is co-president of the student council and involved in many of the sub-committees. He speaks at school assemblies and volunteers for many school activities and events. Mason’s peers and teachers respect and hold him in high regard in the community.  Mason is a high-level hockey referee and mentors’ young referees while he also coaching lacrosse and spring hockey. He was awarded the school’s varsity athlete of the year award, top defensemen award and all-star game MVP for not only his skills and athleticism, but for his leadership. Mason does all of this and maintains an academic average of 91%.
