Garett Lee Sidor Memorial Scholarship

Harneek is the captain of her basketball team and has played basketball at the school for four years. She has received the Cal Harding Award for her dedication and commitment to basketball and has been awarded MVP status each year due to her skills, consistent performance, and versatility to play different positions. She was the leader in assists, blocks, and rebounds and second in points. Harneek is also involved in the Community Service Club and has organized and participated in several donations drives for United Way “Koats for Kid’s” and a food drive for Harvest Manitoba. She is one of the eight elected members of the “Kendra’s Walk” to raise funds for CancerCare Manitoba to raise awareness for teens living with cancer. She also is a member of the schools “Youth in Philanthropy”, UNESCO, Green Team, Multicultural Club, and French Club. Harneek maintains an 88% academic average and she will be attending the University of Manitoba to pursue a science degree.
