Ken 'Friar' Nicolson Award

Mason maintains an academic average of 96% while participating in hockey, cross country, volleyball, basketball, track & field, badminton, lacrosse, soccer, and baseball.  He has also participated in curling in the community and is the captain of the hockey team. He is part of the Youth in Parliament and the Ethics Bowl at the school, and he is part of the Leadership Crew that helped organize and operate all intramurals. Mason was part of the Grade 12 fashion show where he walked and emceed the event. With little events to volunteer for in his hometown of Oakbank, Mason volunteers through his church, where he helps work at soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and Winnipeg Harvest making baskets for the homeless and handing them out. Mason plans to attend Medical School.
