Sami Jo Small Award

While maintaining an academic average of 97%, Mika participated in hockey, volleyball, basketball, and badminton.  She was selected as assistant captain of her AA hockey team.  Mika volunteers her time to help younger students learn to skate, play hockey, bocce ball and soccer.  She is commended for also giving her time to help create and organize activities for the annual “Fun Day” with the Flanders Lake Cottage Association Activity Committee. She was on the yearbook committee that helped design and organize the annual school yearbook and was also the school photographer.
