Winnipeg Jets Alumni and Friends Hockey Scholarships

Ty is the captain of the Aces hockey team and a skilled forward and leader. Ty pushes his team to be better and he was nominated for the Zone 4 High School Hockey MVP Award and ranked as the Top 20 Point Leaders in both 2021-22 and 2022-23. Tyson is a level two hockey referee, volunteered with the Smitty’s Private Hockey Academy, and is a peer tutor with high school hockey academy for grade 9 students. He played volleyball, basketball, and badminton, and is employed part-time with the Sun Valley CO-OP Gas Bar. He has volunteered with various community events such as the Winter Carnival, Special Olympics, Reading with Elementary students, and Grad Fundraisers. Ty maintains a 94% academic average.
