Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Taylor Cheyne of the Major Pratt Trojans volleyball team in Russell.

Cheyne recently led the Trojans in kills and aces at the Hank Lorenzen U of R tournament, leading them to a top 4 finish at the event.  Coach Tanya Thompson states, "Taylor Cheyne has been an offensive asset for the Lady Trojans since her Grade 10 season. Serving as this year's Captain, Taylor is a strong leader and role model for her teammates."

This grade 12 student maintains a 98.5% academic average.
