Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Sarah Nason of the Westgate Mennonite Wings cross country team.

In the first two SCAC cross country meets this season Nason finished first overall and helped lead the team to a 1st place finish in the first race.  Coach Jarrett Rempel states "Sarah is a busy multi sport athlete who is often literally running from activity to the next but has prioritized being at these meets. She has shown leadership to younger athletes and is enthusiastic in her support for all of her teammates whether they are JV or Varsity." 

This grade 12 student also participates on the school basketball, ultimate, soccer, and track & field team.
