Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Kaitlyn Lusk of the Sturgeon Heights Huskies volleyball team.

This past weekend Kaitlyn was a big factor in helping her number two ranked Sturgeon Heights Huskies advance to the finals in their home tournament. She passed 2.3 on the weekend and her kill percentage was 65%. Coach Ryan Vermette states, "Kaitlyn's love for the game and her intensity on the court rubs off in the players around her making them better as well." 

In grade 10 she also helps out with student council and takes advantage of any opportunities that the school has to offer."
