Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Anthony Pyner of the Lord Selkirk Royals hockey team.

Pyner has helped the Royals get off to a 5-0 start to the season and first place in the Platinum Promotion Division of the WHSHL.  So far in the first 5 games played he has 7 Goals, and 4 assists for 11 points to lead the division scoring race.  Coach Micheal Buffie states, "Tony helped lead the Royals to a 3-0 week last week and has scored a goal in every game this season.  Last week Tony had 4 goals and 3 assists in three games while also providing leadership and defensive focus for the team".

In grade 12 he maintains an 82% academic average.
