Payworks Coach of the Month

Jarrett Rempel has been part of the cross country coaching dynamic duo at Westgate for the last eight years. Jarrett encourages the team and community aspect of cross country when it can sometimes feel like an individual sport. As a result of his encouragement while being one of the smallest schools in the SCAC, Westgate routinely fields one of the largest teams. Beyond that success of numbers, he has helped coach teams to capture eight A, AA, AAA Provincial Championships including a varsity boys title this year and countless SCAC wins. Jarrett is respected by those he encounters in this sport. Jarrett is a supporter of all of our Westgate programs including a director of our dramas. Outside school, Jarrett has been involved with coaching at the community level. Jarrett is one of those coaches whose work is so valued and with whom our programs couldn't run without.
