Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Levi Unger of the Kelvin Clippers volleyball team.

Unger a left-side hitter and team captain for the Clipper led the team to the 3-peat at the Tec Voc tournament championships this past weekend.  For his efforts he was named MVP of the tournament for the second year in a row. Coach Mariano states, "Levi is a next level talent.  He leads the team in kills, service aces, passer rating, and digs.   He is obviously a very big part of our offense but what is often overlooked is his defense and how often he makes plays that keep the ball alive.  He is an excellent leader both on and off the court.  He is the type of player that doesn’t get too high or low on himself and consistently brings the best of both himself and the team around him".  

Unger is a high achieving student, specializing in mathematics and the sciences.  He is currently enrolled in the French Immersion Program at Kelvin High School.
