Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Josiah Glaser of the Carberry Cougars volleyball team.

This left side hitter, was amongst the team leaders who led the Cougars to victory in the Hamiota Huskies JV Boys Volleyball tournament.  Glaser led the Cougars in kills, aces, and passing percentage over the weekend.  Coach Blaine Hall states, "This grade 9 student, who is in just his second year of organized volleyball, displays a passion for the sport and works hard to improve at practice, open gym times, and on his own.  Josiah is a very coachable athlete, who takes in advice in game and at practice, striving to improve his game.  He has been a key piece of the Cougars' offence this year".

Glaser all exceeds in the classroom where he maintains an 87% academic average.
