Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Alyssa Hee of the Fort Richmond Centurions volleyball team.

Hee was a key player in helping the Centurions capture the Varsity Girls WWAC Championship.  The team will now be headed to the Boston Pizza AAAA Provincial Volleyball Championships starting this weekend. Coach Nicola Dirks states,"Alyssa has been having a tremendous season for us this year. She is so steady in the back court with her strong passing and consistent serving, and also makes smart plays at the net. She has been a great leader on our team and has really stepped up in big matches for us".

She is a  member of the cross country team, part of the band program, and also serves on the grad committee. In her grade 12 year, she maintains a 96% average in her courses.
