Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Shay McKim of the Vincent Massey Trojans volleyball team.

McKim was a pivotal member of Trojan's first AAAA Provincial Volleyball Championship.   He had an incredible semi final match where he racked up 9 kills and an extremely high kill efficiency.  Coach Marshall Jones states, "He had a strong match in the Provincial final and was crucial to slowing down the opponents middle attack.  He also chipped in with 5 timely kills.  He has proven himself to be one of the top middle players in the province.   He is an exceptional student athlete".

This grade 12 student athlete maintains a 97% academic average, is a member of the school STEM group, and competes in track & field.
