Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Katie-Rae Byram of the Neepawa Tigers basketball Team.

Byram has led the Tigers to a 2nd place finish in their home tournament, averaging 10.2 points, 17.6 rebounds, and 3 steals a game on 45% shooting. Coach Jordan Wickens states, "Katie-Rae took a year off from basketball last season and has come back with something to prove this season. Katie-Rae leads by example putting in max effort every minute she is on the court both in practice and during games.

In grade 12, she maintains a 95% academic average.
