Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Rhea Koshel of the William Morton Warriors basketball team in Gladstone.

Koshel has led the Warriors to the fourth spot in the MHSAA weekly Manitoba Hydro Power Rankings and an 8-2 overall record.  The Warriors have finished second in the Warren tournament and third in the Prairie Mountain tournament.  She is averaging 23 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals per game.  Coach Donovan Nemetchek states, "Rhea is a great leader on the team, always exhibiting maximum effort.  She is one of the most coachable players I have ever had in 34 years".

In grade 10 she maintains a 93% academic average.
