Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Aiden Brunel of the Ste. Rose Celtics basketball team.

As co-captain of the Celtics, he has led his team to an 9-2 record this season, while averaging 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists per game. he helped the team capture the Carman tournament championship where he was named MVP and led them to a Zone 8 Championship.  He most recently helped the Celtics win their interzone game with Hamiota to clinch a berth in the Provincial A/AA JV Basketball Championships.  Coach Nathan Zadorozny states, "He leads by example and always works as hard as he can to help his team win". 

In grade 10, he currently maintains an 84% academic average.
