Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athletes of the Week are Trisha Topiwala and Lloyd Bernabe of the St. Boniface Centurions badminton team.

Topiwala and Bernabe won the mixed doubles title at the Zone 12 Badminton Championships. Coach Brad Scott states, "Trisha and Lloyd are always ready to work hard at practice and their positive attitude and sportsmanship is a role model for all of our athletes. Their determination and dedication helped them improve each year and finally reach one of their goals!"

In grade 12, Bernabe maintains a 94% academic average while also participating in track and field.  Topiwala, also in grade 12, is on the soccer and track & field teams and maintains a 90% academic average.
