Audrey arrived at Winnipeg’s Technical Vocational High School in 1951 and taught there until her retirement in 1985. She was one of the founding members of the MHSAA and was President in 1964 and 1965.  She was a very active supporter and coached many High School Sports.  Audrey was a physical education teacher and coach for most of her career. Later on she became a mathematics teacher and hand bell ringer. Since her retirement in June of 1985, she has maintained close ties with Tec-Voc High School. In 1991 Audrey created the Tec-Voc Alumni Association Inc. of which she remains an active member. Tec-Voc High School and MHSAA are extremely proud of and thankful for Audrey Jones. She is the first member of the Tec-Voc family to have a piece of the school, the Audrey Jones Field House dedicated in her honour.
