Grey Cup Legacy Male and Female Coach of the Year

Phil Hudson of Dakota Collegiate in Winnipeg, has coached 5 Provincial “AAAA” Volleyball Championship teams, in 1980, 1986, 1991, 1992, and 2003.  Coach Hudson taught and coached at West Kildonan Collegiate, before moving to Dakota in 1988. He has been coaching for an extraordinary 27 years, in volleyball, cross-country, track & field and soccer.  Last summer, he was also the coach of the gold medal winning Canada Games Boys Volleyball, and was recently named as an assistant coach of the Women’s National Team.  Coach Hudson has also been distinguished as Volleyball Canada’s Coach of the Year.
