Athlete of the Year

Joshua Gundrum of Westmount School Complex in Swan Lake is the “A” Male Athlete of the Year.  Joshua participates in baseball, track & field, golf, volleyball, hockey curling and badminton.  He was captain of his volleyball team, won the Provincial “AA” Hockey Championships, participated in both the curling and badminton provincials.  Joshua received Westmount School Athlete of the Year recognition and recently participated in the baseball and Track Provincials, placing 3rd in triple jump.  He is a member of Student Council, belongs to the Phys Ed Leadership group and is an Intramural coordinator, JV and Grade 7-8 Volleyball official, middle years track and field official and Level 2 Hockey Manitoba Referee.
