Taylor Pischke of the Fort Richmond Collegiate Centurions is a 6’1 left side player with a grade point average of 95.2%. Taylor led the Centurions to 2 tournament victories this year and to the quarterfinals of the MHSAA AAAA Championships. She was selected as a MVA Graduating All-Star and also to the All-Manitoba Team, and was voted as the Winnipeg Suns #1 High School Player in the province. According to her coach, she plays with a competitive drive not many players can compare to. Taylor was a member of the 18U Bison Club Team last season that won Gold medal at the provincial championships, was Silver medalists at the National Championships, and along with her partner was the 18U Beach Volleyball National Champion last summer in Ashbridges Bay, Ontario. In her school she is also active on the basketball team, cross country running, beach volleyball, track and field and dragon boat team. She is also a member of her School Grad Committee, Grade 9 Orientation, co-chair of ‘Cardio Chaos’ raising money for Resource Assistance for Youth, and has also volunteered at the Victoria General Hospital as a morning Nurse Unit Assistant. Taylor’s career aspirations are with Pharmacy or Optometry, and she dreams of representing Canada on its indoor and/or beach volleyball teams in the coming years.
