Dr. Dale Iwanoczko Memorial Scholarship

Chelsea Hudson, of the College Jeanne Sauve Olympiens, is a 5’11”” setter.  She was chosen as captain of her team, selected as a graduating all-star and named to the Winnipeg Sun Top Ten players list.  Chelsea was selected as MVP of Club Nationals in which her team captured gold.  She has also been recognized as the MVA’s Athlete of the Year in June 2006.  Chelsea also maintains a 93% academic average and has been involved in peer tutoring for the past 3 years.  Her involvement in volleyball has also included coaching for 2 years and refereeing for the last 4 years.  Chelsea hopes to compete in volleyball at the CIS level, at the 2009 Canada Games and on the provincial team this summer.  She also plans to continue coaching.
