Dr. Dale Iwanoczko Memorial Scholarship

Matthew Hebert, of the College Regional Gabrielle Roy les Roys, in Ile des Chenes, is a 6’4” right side player.  His “AA” school moved into the “AAA” category this year to host the Provincials, where they finished with a silver medal.  For his efforts, he was named to the Provincial All-Star Team, capping off a season that included three All-Star and two MVP Awards.  As well, Matthew played in the graduating All-Star Game and was the Dennis Nord Award recipient.  Maintaining a 79% in school, he is in charge of the school music concert in May, helped coach the Junior Varsity team as well as the grade 7 & 8 volleyball team.  Matthew intends to play university volleyball and some day make the national team.
