GORDON BELL Winter Invitational

Dear Coaches:

You are invited to our Varsity Boys Basketball Tournament which will be held from Thursday, February 11^th to Saturday, the 13^th. The following down below is the information regarding the tournament.

Location: Gordon Bell High School – 3 Borrowman Place

Date: Thursday February 11^th, Friday February 12^th and Saturday February 13th

Entry Fee: $225 per team - cheques payable to Gordon Bell High School

Format: 8 teams – guaranteed 3 games

 

Game Regulations:

•         Four 10 minute periods (stop time)

•         7 minute halftime

•         Two 60 second timeouts 1^st half and three 60 second timeouts 2^nd half

•         There will be a 60 second time between the 1^st/2^nd & 3^rd/4^th periods

•         5 minute overtime to break ties, only 1 full timeout in each overtime

•         5 to 10 minute warm up before each game, time permitting

•         3 point line is in effect

•         Penalty is awarded on the 5^th team foul of each period

•         24 second shot clock

 

Awards: Awards for M.V.P and all-stars.  Awards for Champions, 2^nd, 3^rd and consolation.

Canteen will be available on site. Coach’s room will be run all three days in our Choir Room.
