Gordon Bell’s Invitational  Basketball Tournament
February 9^th – 11^th, 2017

Dear Coaches:

You are invited to our Varsity Boys Basketball Tournament which will be held from Thursday, February 9th to Saturday, 11th. The following down below is the information regarding the tournament.

Location: Gordon Bell High School – 3 Borrowman Place

Date: Thursday February 9^th, Friday February 10^th and Saturday February 11th

Entry Fee: $250 per team - cheques payable to Gordon Bell High School

Format: 8 teams – guaranteed 3 games

Game Regulations:

•         Four 10 minute periods (stop time)

•         5 minute halftime

•         Two 60 second timeouts 1^st half and three 60 second timeouts 2^nd half

•         There will be a 60 second time between the 1^st/2^nd & 3^rd/4^th periods

•         5 minute overtime to break ties, only 1 full timeout in each overtime

•         5 to 10 minute warm up before each game, time permitting

•         3 point line is in effect

•         Penalty is awarded on the 5^th team foul of each period

•         24 second shot clock

Awards: Awards for M.V.P and all-stars.  Awards for Champions, 2^nd, 3^rd and consolation.

Canteen will be available on site. Coach’s room will be run all three days in our Choir Room.
