DMCI Varsity Girls Holiday Classic

Dear Coaches,

You are invited to our Varsity Girls Basketball Tournament which will be held from Monday, December 18th to Friday, 22nd. The following down below is the information regarding the tournament.

Location: Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Institute – 720 Alverstone Street

Date: Monday December 18^th - Friday December, 22^nd, 2017

Entry Fee: $275 per team - cheques payable to DMCI – Attn. Nick Malandrakis

Format: 8 teams – guaranteed 3 games

Game Regulations:

•         Four 10 minute periods (stop time)

•         5 minute halftime

•         Two 60-second timeouts 1^st half and three 60 second timeouts 2^nd half

•         There will be a 60-second time between the 1^st/2^nd & 3^rd/4^th periods

•         5 minute overtime to break ties, only 1-full timeout in each overtime

•         5 to 10 minute warm up before each game, time permitting

•         3 point line is in effect

•         Penalty is awarded on the 5^th team foul of each period

•         24 second shot clock

Awards: Awards for Champions, 2^nd, 3^rd and consolation.

Canteen will be available on site.

Admission for spectators $2 per game or $5 for tournament pass.
